Didn't see/hear any of the game but from what I've been reading, it appears as though we had a solid game? Nice to Thiessen get the start and win as well as Malkin adding to his lead

When we beat the stars we will have 8 wins this month not a bad month one bad loss to the sabres. The rest where good games and close we could of won any of them

1-1 after not bad period letang got crushed on a very boderline hit hard to tell if legal it will for sure be looked at by league

Didn't see the 1st period but I heard Letang and Sullivan were both hurt, not good, hopefully it is nothing serious and not too many games will be missed. Good win overall though, no harm in giving them the overtime point either.

Not sure what happened to Sullivan but Letang took a big hit (borderline illegal). I hope it is nothing serious but it certainly looked like he might need to sit a few games.

Yea that was a dirty hit...nystrom didnt even go for the puck.

That was not a dirty hit at all. He may have come close to the head ( yes I know letangs head history) but he never lifted his arms or shoulders or followed through. Letang was bent over and didn't have his head up , which under rule he should have to take care of himself. He was not defenseless, and it appears to me nystrom made contact with the shoulder

But I do hope letang is okay. League can't afford losing another star player

yes it was it may not have been as bad as some others this year but it was a dirty hit. Nystrom didnt even attempt to go for the puck and main piont of contact was the head. He will be suspended depending on previous penalties for cheap shots at he very least fined. On a side steve ott is a dam ***** he started crap all night then when challenged ran and hid. You want to be an agitator and tough guy dont back down when challenged. You get in Malkins face enough you know a number of players on the Pens will step up for him and ott tucks tail and hides from our guys but hey we got the win the most important part. Hope Letang and sully are both back soon Sul;livan has been hot lately and letang is our number one d man.
