I was hoping this wouldnt turn in to a lottery thread this early, but I think our pro team is headed for a high end lottery pick. Top 10 probably.
I can already see whats going to happen...the Wolves will finish the season with the 10th worst record in the league, and they will miraculously win the lottery in a year where there is no consensus #1 guy. I mean, I like Cody Zeller, but does that guy really get you that excited about being the #1 pick?
at least we have the gophers that are good at basketball.
haha, if could be a good thing actually, add more talent for cheap(if kahn lets adleman pick) and then have players come back healthy next year. Bam! If we still have AK and Pek... or adleman for that matter
Indiana is whoopen the Gophers now. The Gophers have a hard time against bigger teams. Mbakwe is a good defender, but we have been playing him at C, not at PF where he fits naturally.
Physical game. I like the energy both squads are bringing, but the Gophers are having a bit of trouble breaking Indiana's pressure. A little sloppy. The effort is there though.

Very physical game today (I guess that is the BigTen) but even with the crowd and some hometown calls (that's how college basketball goes) we still made it a very competitive game at the end! If only we could have gotten that board after the two missed free throws at the end we could have tied it up with a three...
Oh well, this game proved we can play with any team. Hope we can bounce back with a win over Michigan. This team is a lot more exciting to watch than the way the Timberwolves are playing...
"Let me tell you bout' my BESTFRIEND!"
With our prospects declining, I am in draft mode. I would like to go on the record of liking Archie Goodwin and Isaiah Austin.
He's Johny's brother, right?
