thanks for the welcome CLAY, I started watching the games in 1978 on NBC, in Southwestern Ontario we would see the Jets frequently and I became hooked because thy were always the underdog, the team everyone laughed at. I saw guys like Richard Todd, all the physical tools but not too bright, I loved the backfield of Scott Deirking and Kevin Long, we had a great rushing attack! Guys like Marty Lyons, Klecko, Barkum, Leahy, Walker no stars just a lunch-bucket group, hooked on the Jets ever since!

Pat Leahy never missed inside the 40, he just couldn't reach outside of it however.

Wesley Walker was the man.

Scott Dierking #22, man I haven't thought about him in a long time.

I forgot to mention Bruce Harper.

I am from Centerport, New York, which is on Long Island. I am currently attending college in Massachusetts.

My grandfather had season tickets since 1969 so I have been going to games since I was old enough to not be a hassle. I really got into the team about 1998.

3. Who's Your Favorite Current Jet?
Darrelle Revis is my favorite current Jet, I also like David Harris and Nick Mangold.

4. Who's Your Favorite All Time Jet?
Curtis Martin and Wayne Chrebet will always be my favorites.

I have been playing lacrosse since I was 5, but the MLL sucks IMO.
BPL: Manchester City otherwise FCB.
NBA: Knicks
NHL: Rangers
Lacrosse players typically do not like baseball.

Probably Klecko, but you can throw in Toon, Mehl, Freeman, & Chrebet. My favorite should have been Dan Marino, and I will never forgive Joe Walton & Mike Hickey for the worst drafting mistake in sports history (although I always pulled hard for Ken O'Brien.)

O'Brien played behind a sub par OL and had his career ended due to concussions, in his prime he was setting records that even Marino struggled to match. If Marino was a Jet behind the same Oline - remember they went 11-1 and then 0-5 to close out the season due to Oline injuries before flaming out to the Browns and Kosar on a late drive kept alive by a Gastineau roughing the passer call.

I will never forgive some of their crazy draft picks back then, Roger Vick a FB in Rd1 and both Mike Haight and Dave Cadigan OL busts,
