A long time, I was to young to remember the Jets winning Super Bowl III. My dad loved Namath, my brothers loved Namath, hence I'm a Jets fan. This team is the bane of my existence. And yet, I'm back for more.

Tuff to be exact but I'd say late 70's like 78 or so. The only jets fan in a house of giants fans while growing up. I still have a Freeman McNeil daily news poster!

Tuff one but Wayne wins out slightly over Curtis. Hence the name "green lantern"

My brother is a Miami Dolphin fan and on the night of the Monday Night Miracle comeback game, I had to study for a big test when I was in college. So I turned off the game at the end of the third, studied for an hour and went to sleep. When I woke up the next day and saw the score I couldn't figure out if I was immensely excited or extremely pissed that I gave up that night. Since then, I have never turned a game off no matter how terrible they look.

thanks for the welcome CLAY, I started watching the games in 1978 on NBC, in Southwestern Ontario we would see the Jets frequently and I became hooked because thy were always the underdog, the team everyone laughed at. I saw guys like Richard Todd, all the physical tools but not too bright, I loved the backfield of Scott Deirking and Kevin Long, we had a great rushing attack! Guys like Marty Lyons, Klecko, Barkum, Leahy, Walker no stars just a lunch-bucket group, hooked on the Jets ever since!

I would have welcomed you as well IBleedHabs but the thing is, I already hate you! I'm a Leafs fan, you are a Habs fan. I like the Ticats, you like the Argos. I like Federer, you like Nadal. Aside from the Jets, were basically opposites.
