Colts should try to resign Peyton

Why cant we resign Manning to the vet minimum? I'm still telling myself this is all part of the plan

He'll be a free agent, we can do anything both sides agree to. Can't figure out why wait this long, then make an announcement two days before the deadline. Has to be more to this.

It's a sad day, but I am going to wait to comment or reflect until after he is officially released tomorrow. For now, he is still a Colt and we can will have one last night of Peyton Manning on our team.

Colts save $6.6 million against the cap by releasing Peyton Manning. He still counts $10.4 million in 'dead money.'

I was just telling someone this. Why would they wait SO long to come to this decision? If they really wanted to move on they would have released him a long time ago. I can't see him signing to the vet minimum (isn't it only like $500 thousand ish?) but I can definitley see him resigning for a couple million a year

One of Washington/Miami will throw a lot of money towards him, and PM knows they are willing to take a risk with him

This move will end bad for the Indianapolis Franchise.. I would rather have four years of a Healthy Manning, because my gut tells me after Lucks five years are up he will be a goner.. oh well, only time will tell.
