    Problem with Ike?

    Adam Rubin

"Ike Davis traveled to New York to have a follow-up related to his spring-training physical. A team spokesman said it is unrelated to last year's ankle issue."

Hopefully this isn't like Reyes and his thyroid problem a couple of years ago.

Both of his arms and legs will be amputated within a week. It's only a matter of time until they make the announcement.

Interesting. I heard that he was consulting to have a matching nose job to Niese's.

Of course there will be something up with Ike because The Curse of the '86 Mets continues. This franchise used all it's luck and good fortune during that season. Next headline: "Johan Santana to have left arm amputated"

They already said he's fine and he'll be back working out in PSL tomorrow...

So he'll have a smaller strike zone and walk more. Just as long as Ike "Stumpy" Davis is on the field, he doesn't need arms and legs.

We can sign Henry Rowengartner, he had no strikezone either.

Even without his legs, he couldn't run any slower.

A good tuck and roll out of the batter's box should be better than his natural speed.

    Well that didn't take long.

    Don't worry. He's got this.
