    Winter Classic 2013

Looks like it's the Wings/Leafs in Detroit.. Big House I believe.. I don't live in Detroit, so I really don't know where that is located...Datsyuk on the preview shows.

This is awesome. The Big House is in Ann Arbor. I'm really going to try to get tickets for this.

okay, yes it would be sweet with the 110,000+ fans in the Big House. but Comerica seems like a better fit. can you imagine the amount of Toronto fans coming across the border to attend the game. the vibe in downtown Detroit would be awesome, local bars/restaurants would be packed. downtown Detroit over Ann Arbor anyday.

Yes it would help Detroit but the park holds only like 41000, which seems like alot, but woud make it like one of the least attended Classics. The Big House would be a very good venue not just for the 2 teams, but the NHL as a whole. The game would more than likely break all attendence records. Buuuut here's the rub...no booze in the Big House as it's a college arena, so that could be a problem. The league would definetly have to pull some major strings to fit that in. So they might as well do it Grand Rapids.

Well they said they would have events at the ball park or at least thats the plan. So the Alumni and an AHL game would more than likely be in Detroit so they would get a nice draw there in Detroit while the NHL will get their record breaking attendance

No but the outdoor rick in the center of the city might be adequate. They could maybe get 400 people out there.

In all reality though, Ann Arbor is a good draw, because it is a bit closer for the fans on westside of the state, albiet not that much closer. It's about a 2 hour drive from GR, so that's good for me!!

100,000 plus people to watch the Wings play will be insane! Ann Arbor is an hour and half or so away from me so I'll do my damnest to make it!

I was considering Murphy, but I wasn't quite sure if he'd be good to go. No way Howe and Lindsay play. Hasek and Ozzy were better goaltenders for us than Vernon. Are you allowed three goaltenders or something? Also, you can't put in Draps and Darren, and then leave off Maltby.
