i know i might get bashed for this but i'm an SEC fan....i'm rooting for Bama or Georgia to take it. Conference pride!

I'm rooting for Georgia to win the SEC and National Championship. Its time for both the school and Mark Richt to get one. If Bama is in the NCG,...i won't like it, but I'll root for them. I just hate them sooooooooo much...

My alma mater is USM, so I pull for them (bad season...). Also, if any Mississippi team made a major bowl or were playing for the national title, I'd cheer them on.

Growing up I rooted for Michigan because I played on the Wolverines in peewee football (worst reason ever, I know). They still have a special place in my heart. If I go there to do my Ph.D. work, I will again. My brother loved Notre Dame, so I pull for them, too. Especially this season.

Auburn fires head coach Gene Chizik. Good riddance. Winless in the conference and they didn't beat Clemson to start the year. Inexcusable. Names I'm hearing thrown around by the media for a replacement:

"No Fun League". Watched the ESPN 30 for 30 on the USFL last night. They let the players have fun with celebrations. Its stupid that the NFL doesn't let players celebrate
