^^^ i'm no longer on the "Alex Smith is a horrible QB" run anymore. He's average. I'll give him that. But I just don't think any 49er fan would say they would rather Smith next year over Manning if possible.
He'd be the key to being the best team on paper to start the year.

Some one fill me in on what the hell's going on with our offseason. Since we inked Spags as our DC and GW joined Fisher in STL, I've been completely out of what's going on with these Saints because of hockey season. I'd appreciate it guys.

I saw we signed the former Rams D-Coordinator (who worked with Spags) to be our secondary coach.

I don't know too much about this guy, but do know he took the Rams' pass defense to 7th in the league. So I definitely like him so far.

I saw that I was thinking he must've had a helluva interview it kind of caught me off guard then again I think we've been slowly losing our coaching staff the league notices and respects our success but we sure are doing a great job at replacing and even upgrading the personnel losses.

1) Kevin Flajole signed as the new DB coach

2) Tom Condon made headlines by saying he's "flabbergasted" or something by how slow the Brees contract talks are going right now.

3) We still need a new WR coach to replace Curtis Johnson

He studied under one of the greatest defensive minds in NFL history (the late Jim Johnson) when he was the secondary coach with the Eagles, then he was the Giants defensive coordinator when they balled out in 2007 in the playoffs and Superbowl vs. the Pats, then made that same defense BETTER in the proceeding seasons.
