We must get some kind of waiver fee for FMart.
That makes this the most productive year the Mets got from this guy.

If Harvey makes it here by July, that will be the beginning of the rebuild.
The fact that he piitched in college does not mean much since Familia was pitching in the pros. Harvey may be more polished, but is not like he is that much more polished than Familia. Both have similar command issues, Harvey may have a better secondary, but Familia may have a better 3rd pitch.
I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I just have a feeling that Harvey is closer. He's a year older, bigger, and not only pitched in a decent baseball program, but also pitched in summer leagues.
Familia, while only an inch shorter than Harvey is about 40 lbs less, and is more slight of build. He has pitched between 120-134 innings for 3 straight years, and I'd like to see him get stretched out a little more before he's counted on to go deep into a season in the majors.
Then again, depending on how things progress with the Mets this season, we might see both of them at some point this year before September.
-Sun TzuLet your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.
They both are big guys that have shown durability, now Familia did have some shoulder soreness last year, so that is something to be leery of. The weight thing really does not mean much imo. Pitching around 130 innings in the minors is good enough to make the jump to the majors and then add another 30-40 innings on top of that.
