Keith law ranks sox system last on espn....
Yea, it should be last on pretty much anyones list. Its bad.
It's definitely pretty bad. Although I am pretty high on Nestor Molina. A lot of people think he is a future top of the rotation starter, James Shields is the guy I hear the most when people talk about who he compares too. Reed should be pretty damn good as well. Not enough in the system though.

Is anyone here going to spring training in Phoenix this year?
Nope, are you?
I think we should close this thread. I see Reed as the only impact player coming North and once he's up, that means the talent in the bush is even thinner. The Sox need some big noise early out of Molina and Castro although if by some twist of fate the Sox contend, KW will most assuredly move them in an ill-fated attempt to trade for an Edwin Jackson type.
Since KW seemingly took a pass on Soler, one of Mitchell, Walker or Thompson really need to make a big jump through some levels. I like D'Aza, but haven't seen him for a full season and get the feeling he will always be a place-holder for the next CF. Seems more of a 4th OF to me. Hope I'm wrong.
This is probably just emotion over reports of the cubs signing Soler, but I really think JR needs to consider giving Rick Hahn the keys to the car.
Uh no!
Why would I close the minor league thread?
You are freaking out over one player who hasn't even signed yet.
