Listened to the game tonight and saw a little bit. Malkin scored but other than that, not much positive came from this game

Some one has to step up on this team I realize injuries have killed us but we have plenty of talent left we should not be fighting for our play off lives right now. We need a leader to step up from some where anyone to light a fire under us and get some players going.

SO far tonight no goals solid performance malkin looks good beside turn over that led to goal but showed flashes. Malkin needs some help on offense. still some mental mistakes

Best game in a while and we still lose. Stunning how we had the best record in the league about a month ago and now we are on the brink of being out of the playoffs.

Sigh, and the struggles continue. The defense played well tonight besides that one breakdown and even that wasn't entirely their fault. Fleury played well, a breakaway was the only one he let in. Offense... nothing

Also wanted to mention that Despres has been placed on the IR and Dustin Jeffrey has been taken off of it:

Hate losing a young player like Despres who could have used this time to develop more but maybe Jeffrey can add a spark to this offense once he returns

It says that Crosby had joined the team on the roadtrip and is expected to skate, either individually or with the team. In addition to this, he is expected to address the media at some point but they are not saying what the news will be.

I'm really, really hoping that the fact that he is going to skate and address the media means that he is about to start the recovery stage

ya i said this in the other thread but, i heard from a friends girldfriends friends brother who claims to work for the medical staff of Crosby. He says that he may have Spinal Cord damage. I do not believ this at all but it is what i heard. I do think he will be back in a few months but just saying what i heard. I don't believe it though.
