Brett Festerling missed Saturday's game due to an upper-body injury.
Blueliners on Winnipeg continue to drop like flies, as they now have five defenseman out of action because of injuries. Festerling sustained the issue when he collided with teammate Jim Slater during Friday's practice.

Derek Meech - D - Jets

Derek Meech has undergone surgery on his lower-body injury, which is suspected to be a knee ailment.
He hasn't played since Oct. 20 and is now slated to miss an additional six to eight weeks. Meech doesn't have any fantasy value, so this news shouldn't impact your roster.

Paul Postma - D - Jets

Winnipeg has returned Paul Postma to the minors.
He had no points in three games with the Jets after being brought up from the AHL. Postma is expected to miss some time this week due to a death in his family, so he has our condolences.

Jason Jaffray - W - Jets

Jason Jaffray was recalled by the Jets on Sunday.
He will probably make his season debut on Monday night against Tampa Bay. Jaffray has recorded seven goals and 12 points in 15 games this season with the AHL's St. John's IceCaps.

Eric Fehr - W - Jets

Eric Fehr (shoulder) has been activated off of the injured reserve list by the Winnipeg Jets.
Fehr could make his season and Jets debut on Saturday against the Flyers. He had 10 goals and 20 points in 52 games last season with the Washington Capitals. Although it's not entirely clear what the lines will look like with Fehr back, he's expected to get top-six minutes this season.
