I'm starting to think Cecchini will be our 3B of the future. Imo Xander will end up in left and Middlebrooks will be traded for a starter.

I find that very unlikely. Cecchini is the better chance of getting move.

Honestly, Cecchini's bat is legit and he's a very advanced baseball player.

    He's a guy I'd like to keep unless it's a trade that is a no-brainer.

Too much on what end? I think its solid. You can switch Martin Perez in for Buckel.

I already do. Can't wait until he proclaims him a reliever

He seems to have a tendency to do so. For example, ive seen scouting reports on Workman that say he can be a #4 or good #5 starter, yet Mellen doesnt even entertain that thought it seems.

Workman does seem like a reliever, you don't have to be a filthy pitcher to be an end of the rotation pitcher though.

Ells and Cecchini might be a great package for the Rangers. Because by the time is ready, Beltre will be gone.
Olt (to 1B) as the centerpiece + Grimm + ???...yeah, I'd be thinking about it.
