I've only read a few things but it seemed to me like Meadows will have power. Frazier does look good too. For me personally though id go Meadows. Is this supposed to be a deep draft?? I don't feel like it is

The draft is supposed to be weak, but a lot can and will change by the time the draft arrives.

Weak draft. Lav is right that more names will come up, but some will fall off too. I wouldn't expect it to become too much stronger. Meadows looks like a top 5 pick though so I wouldnt expect him to fall to us. And if his stock is on the decline we probably wouldnt take him anyway.

Players will break out and climb, and others will fall. It can change pretty extremely. The last couple years we have gotten players who fell. Marrero was considered a top 10 guy at this time last year, JBjr was considered a top ten guy two years ago, Ranaudo was considered a top ten guy 3 years ago.

Agreed. The only difference is this year we wont be taking once top 10 talents, we will be taking a top 10 present talent.

I prefer to go offense here as well. For some reason i have it in my head that top 10 pitchers are riskier bets than hitters and we probably wont get a top 10 pick for a while so we have to capitalize here.

I don't know, I think that's overstated. A lot of hitters who look great bust. When pitchers bust it's usually injury leading to decline or control. If you look at our 1st round busts the last 10 years

Figured I'd post it here, but Ivan Dejesus has been lighting it up over here in Puerto Rico. My dad is good friends with him, my father is a baseball coach over here in PR, and he told me "Ivancito" told him that he really didn't like being on the Dodgers at the end due to the way the handled his injury situation and is very happen to have landed in Boston. He hopes they give him a chance to prove himself. He was a good prospect for the Dodgers before getting injured.
