I'm surprised by all the love for The Eminem Show. At best, it's my third favorite Eminem album.

The Eminem Show is by far my favorite album of all time, and it isn't even close.

Sing For The Moment makes it the greatest of all time alone.

Jason Collins claims he is the first openly gay NBA player despite the fact we witnessed the entire league bend the Lakers over all season.

The Eminem Show is simply unreal. Drips and Say What You Say are kind of weak, but the rest pretty much makes a classic. The Marshall Mathers LP is probably a little better, but The Eminem Show is something I can listen to all day. Sing For The Moment.. one of the best records ever. Till I Collapse.. one of Eminem's top 10. Say Goodbye Hollywood is also a top 10 song.. He just simply raps better over his own beats. His flow wasn't choppy anymore like in the first two records.

I'm not much of a fan of Eminem's production and really only dig less than a handful of the songs off Eminem Show. Think I might even like Relapse and Infinite better.

    Different strokes....

Making a list like this is WAY too hard for me as it is constantly morphing and never fully definitive, but here are 5 that kept coming to mind:

Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon
    Nirvana- In Utero
    Scarface- The Diary
    Hieroglyphics- Third Eye Vision
    Radiohead- Kid A

....and here are some others that are definitely in the conversation for me:

    Melvins- Houdini
Del The Funky Homosapien- Both Sides Of The Brain
Rage Against The Machine- Evil Empire
    Jimi Hendrix- Band Of Gypsys
    Beck- Sea Change
Blu & Exile- Below The Heavens
    Themselves- Them
    Black Sabbath- Paranoid
Busdriver- Fear Of A Black Tangent
Organized Konfusion- Stress (The Extinction Agenda)
Led Zeppelin- Houses Of The Holy
    Sage Francis- Personal Journals

Oh man....I hate that song. I get really rubbed the wrong way by hip-hop tracks that are just completely derivative of well known rock songs (in this case Aerosmith- Dream On, a song that I actually like quite a bit). Just comes off as horribly uncreative and very cheesy to me.

Nah. I'd take multiple Del albums over that one. Just too dated sounding with the beats to me.
