Which bullpen would you rather have in 2012: Yankees or Red Soxs?

Here are their potential bullpens for this coming season:

    Yankees:
    Closer: Mo
    8th: Robertson
    7th: Soriano
    MR: Chamberlain
    MR: Logan
    MR: Wade

    Red Soxs:
    Closer: Bailey
    8th:*Bard
    7th: Melancon
    MR: *Aceves
    MR: Jenks
    MR: Morales
(*depending they aren't used as a starter)

Simple question, which bullpen would you rather have, Yankees or Red Soxs? IMO, its very close but Mo tips the edge to NYY for me. What do the rest of you think?

Hard to top the Yankees tandem of Mo and Robertson. I'm assuming Bard is in the rotation, so you're looking more likey at this:

    CL: Bailey
    SU: Melancon
    MR: Aceves
    Etc......

I'd have more confidence in Mo and Robertson, edge to aceves over soriano as the third man out.

    Edge to the yanks

Even with Bard and Aceves in their bullpen it's still got be the Yankees. No contest with the 7-8-9 and the middle relief is kind of a toss up, assuming Joba stays in the bullpen and they don't have him start.

Aceves-Mel-Bard-Bailey is just as got as Wade-So-Ro-Mo. Thats if Bard doesn't go to the rotation.

    Mo > Bailey
    Robertson > Bard
    Soriano > Melancon
    Wade < Aceves

    Advantage Yankees
    Yankees - Jets - Rockets

There is no point. You can look them up and the results will be the same.

It's called using your eyes. If you were to say the world is flat I would of just said the world is round > the world is flat.

Some arguments need stats, For Everything Else, There's < and >.

This is a pretty foolish comparison. Even with Bard in the pen the Yankees win easily. The Yankees bullpen is flat out dominant, there's still some questions about Boston's bullpen.

    For 2012? The Yankees.

For 2013 and beyond? Most likely the Sox.

Oh and for everyone that wants stats on Robertson vs Bard...

    ERA.

    Rob - 1.08. Bard - 3.33.

    SO/9.

    Rob - 13.5. Bard - 9.10.

    BB/9.

    Rob - 4.7. Bard - 3.0.

    H/9.

    Rob - 5.4. Bard - 5.7.

    WHIP.

    Rob - 1.125. Bard - 0.959.

    BA with RISP.

    Rob - .140. Bard - .169.

Robertson does well against both lefties and righties, while Bard dominates righties and struggles against lefties.

Robertson owns a 4-0 record, doesn't mean anything right? Well compare it to Bard's 2-9 record and just by that you can see how many late games Bard has blown.
