Kostitsyn is an UFA this summer, so he doesn't garner squat.

Lecavalier 3 years ago....yeah, I wanted to see that deal done, but no go. Lecavalier now? For Cammalleri ..I would do it. TB would have to take another contract to even out the money some, and maybe you throw in a pick or so for them.

Still not the top tier forward needed, but a home-grown guy so to speak, would help appease the masses....

There may still be time left, but this team as it stands right now, is not a play-off team, and is slowly fading. Unless there is a big turn around in play, and the guys who have been struggling, well, pretty much the entire team, pick up their game, they are going nowhere fast.

    Thoughts anybody??
When you are winnning coming in the third and you are unable to shut down the opponents as you did in the first two periods and lose, it will be impossible for your team to make the playoffs.

Yes, the panic button should be activated!!!

Shame to say after a 3-0 win but----Press the shiny red button!

Gone but no one will take them:
    - Gomer, Markov, Campoli

Get back so we can get rid of you:
    - Gionta

Let's get some 3rd and 4th round draft picks!:
    - Gill and Moen

    Needs to go:
    - Kostitsyn

If you actually want to start a re-build:
    - Colesy and Pleks

    But first:
    - DOWN WITH GAUTHIER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that Gauthier is French for stinky feet but I might have got it wrong

Big time hit the panic button...While I'm staying relaxed because we won tonight, the chances of us making it to the playoffs are extremely slim..At this point, we can only pray that management shapes the team up and fixes our problems, because I don't know what it is, but the chemistry and passion from our players seems pretty dead.

How far would you dismantle this team?

    Re-build vs re-tool

And why are they winning now? 9 points in two months is a lot to make up. Tonight could be the season.

    5-0!!!!!

Carey Price is all the way back.

    The Leafs looked terrible.

If the Habs make the play-offs after my previous postings I am going to look pretty dumb. Long way to go though.

It's hard to do a total re-build in a market like Montreal, and sell it to the fan-base.

Not to say that isn't what is needed, and I mean from the groundfloor right up to the penthouse, this team needs a complete overhaul, but again, there would be hell to pay, and it would be a tough sell.

This team has started to show some signs of life, but may be too little too late. They play 3 out of their next four at home against, Boston, New Jersey and Carolina this evening, as well as a road game against Buffalo. They need 3 out of 4. The NJ game is the one they really have to knuckle down and take. Carolina, they should be able to handle, and Buffalo, well, you never know..........

Prayer seems to go a long ways these days..lol

I heard a report that there was a call for prayer for all Habs fans, taken out I believe in the Montreal Gazatte a wek or so ago.....

The 4 game winning streak was basically a waste because of the loss to 15th place Carolina. They may as well have just lost all 5.

They will play well enough to finish about 10th in the conference and **** themselves over in the draft.

Yep. I figured they needed 3 out of the next 4, but I was counting on one of them being Carolina.

Boston, NJ and Buffalo......they will be lucky to walk away with a win....

Finally two exciting back to back games. We really needed the Carolina game and we're pretty much out of the playoffs based on shoutouts alone. 2-8, what a joke.

I just feel like we're going to try and make a push despite the fact that we should be sellers.
