Im not viewing it as a one year mock. I want to build a competitive team that is very VERY young. Noone on the indians that gets much playing time is even 30 years old. So I prefer to target the best young talent. IFA's are just that.

I think you're crazy, especially when he can play 1B at $240 or $250 million. Why in the world would someone who's said he doesn't want to play DH do so for the same amount of money he can play 1B? You're delusional at this point.

Playing 1B while not a hard position to play. He can still get injured, break a wrist on a runner running into him or a shoulder diving for a ball.
