Purely defensively, Phillips has got to be close to the top.

Agreed, although I'd move Ackley up. I love his upside for 2012.

    3. Utley
    4. Cano
    5. Kinsler

    I agree with this.
And I hate how people only use war. Cano is the best 2b end of discussion...

Best offensively, barely. Not the best fielder or base runner and doesnt have good plate discipline

Dont forget about RBI. I also enjoy when people say that Cano is the best since he has 30 HR power. Well hes never hit 30 HR. In fact Kinsler and Uggla have more 30 HR seasons than him. Guess that means their better than Cano

Earlier in the week, we ranked first basemen based on different criteria and now we are revealing our top choices at second base. Check them out and give us your opinion.

Pedroia beats Cano eight days a week. Nuff said.

It's not like Pedroia beats Cano in only WAR.

He beats him in basically everything (depending the sample size and ball parks you are referring to offensively)

Defensively and base running and plate discipline Pedroia is clearly better. Offensive value they are really close.

I don't see anything else that shows Cano as better other than maybe being better offensively.

You People are insane that think Zobrist is in the same discussion as Cano and Pedroia. I also love when you guys say that Cano is a sub par fielder haha bunch of jokes. No point in even arguing with you.
