Mr. Moreno, we just signed a TV contract that will pay us 150 million annually, that doesnt factor in ticket or concession stand sales. So what im asking you is for an 8M dollar raise to the cap. This is not a cap I want or need you to stay at for us to be contenders for years to come, we will lose over 60M in contracts in the upcoming offseason, so our payroll can go down below 100M next season.

With a 150M TV contract covering team costs you will still make a huge profit when we pull in 3M fans again for the 10th straight season.

The Toronto Blue Jays were thrilled to get the 95,000,000 payroll. And we have made some great deals bringing in players such as Evan Longoria, David Price, BJ Upton, Paul Konerko, Carlos Quentin, John Danks and Sergio Santos.

The best part is we still have a lot of work left to be the team we want to be. We are currently in negotiations with SS Jose Reyes, and have been very busy with trade talk. We have taken the money you given us and taken it a long way, and know with whatever else your willing to give us, we will make it work. The Tampa Bay Rays have done everything in their power to work with what limited resources that we have. We have rejected many trades and stepped over many offers that we felt would hurt our team financially even by a little bit. We have missed out on premium talent on the trade market because we have had our eyes set on one important thing; to sustain a high level of talent on the field, while making as much space in our payroll as possible. We feel that we have grinded out many hours in attempting to lighten the load on the ownership and we feel that we have succeeded so far. You also told us that we would be able to put in another viable bank appeal if the bank liked where we had taken our team; the commissioners told us that they felt we should compete. Well we feel that we have made huge strides, have completely restructured the team and we feel that we are only now four pieces away from having a complete team and putting a world series contender on the field. With the acquisitions of players like Alex Gordon, Jose Bautista, Brett Lawrie, Yunel Escobar, Carlos Santana, Vernon Wells on the field and Francisco Rodriguez, Brandon League, Greg Holland and Vinnie Pestano in the pen, we feel that we have turned a team that 'just got lucky' in 2011 to a team that has made its presence known and will be a dominant force in 2012. Of course we had to give up players that we didn't want to give up to reach this point, but every battle has to have its sacrifices. Though we have parted with guys like David Price, Evan Longoria and James Shields, we feel that our team is much, much more better at this point than it was the beginning of the offseason. The biggest factor in all of this that should be considered is that we have made incredible progression with our team all the while saving a substantial amount of money along the way.

At this point, we are only four pieces from being a legitimate world series contender:

- A first baseman
- Two starting pitchers
- A left handed specialist

All of our current available money has been allotted to making a very competitive offer to Prince Fielder on the free agent market, but unfortunately, this doesn't leave us with much room to fit in the rest of our desired pieces. We will continue to strive towards making bargain-type deals but at this point, we feel it would be impossible to do so without more breathing room.

The Rays are requesting that their $58,000,000 payroll be increased to $85,000,000. As the offseason progresses, the list of moves we can make becomes shorter, and we feel that this kind of payroll would offer us the flexibility we need to make these final acquisitions. We feel that it will guarantee us a spot in contention, and that it will help us to solidify a marquee free agent. We would like to point out that while this is a large request, it should be noted that among the contending teams (and even some sellers) we would still have a much lower payroll than our competition.

We would also like to note that this number would not be much higher than our past payroll numbers at all. We hope you will really consider our request and that we will be given a fair verdict, as many other team have before us.

Greetings from the Seattle Mariners front office. First off we would like to thank you profusely for the generous $95M payroll you have granted us for the 2012 season. We realize we're not a big market by any means, but we feel with this free agent class this could be a make-or-break offseason for Seattle Mariners baseball moving forward.

We currently have the makings of an incredible rotation and an up and coming offense full of prospects, upside and potential to help back our rotation, which should help hold opponents to a fairly low run average.

Let us rewind to 2008, the last time the Mariners were buyers going into the offseason. Seattle came away with a payroll over $117M. Not only do we feel we have more talent than our '08 club, but our team's ceiling is a lot higher than it was four years ago. Our previous GM overpaid for old, washed up talent and it resulted in a 100 loss season.

This free agent class is brimming with high impact guys that can help make in impact not only immediately, but moving forward in the future, as well. Our main focus is on guys that are young enough to help aid the rebuilding process and that will continue to improve in an offensive/defensive/pitching standpoint.

We're not asking for a $22M raise, that is not the case in the slightest. However, if you would be willing to give us a $10-$15M raise not only would management be eternally grateful, but I'm sure our fanbase would be ecstatic with the prospects of acquiring the players our general manager has been looking at acquiring.

The potential combination of Ichiro and Yu Darvish on the same team would not only acquire more Japanese influence than we have had in the past, but they would be a marketing home run and we could potentially make back whatever raise you give us in merchandising sales, media exposure as well as the numerous marketing campaigns you could base around the duo.

We already have the Latin American market's focus thanks to King Felix, but with Ichiro having a down year last year we feel something can be done in regards to the Japanese focus, which is where Yu Darvish comes in, once again. This would be a big move for our fanbase, something our fans deserve after the past few down years we have seen here in Seattle.

This would be one of the greatest things an owner could to for our team. We will not ask for a specific number, but raising our potential payroll to anywhere between $105-$110M would be greatly appreciated, not only by management, but by our fanbase, as well.

Hello again, the Milwaukee Brewers (reluctantly) are back asking for another raise. Last time we spoke, we talked about added cash giving us the ability to sign a big bat in free agency. We added a big bat in Joe Mauer, but now are lacking a little bit of the pitching that made us so great. Our lineup is now tremendous with the likes of Mauer, Braun, Weeks, Hart, Trumbo(also recently acquired), etc. and are now just missing one great pitcher to add to Gallardo, Baker and Marcum, to make us world series contenders, as well as a third baseman.

Our cap situation is currently 100,000,000 and with only 7million left in space, we would like to act for a raise to 123,000,000 , giving us 20million for an elite pitcher, and the rest for the third baseman and depth.

As we saw last year, the time for us to win is now. With this added payroll, we feel like we become the favorites in our division, with the youth on our team making us capable of contention for years and years to come. We ask that our ownership realizes the strides that we have made this off-season, and gives us the necessary cash to make us the elite team that we envisioned when we took over the team.

The Texas Rangers would like a raise in payroll. We currently have 9.353 available of our 93 mil. We have been the AL champions for the last 2 years and we are a large market. We have a very strong roster right now but feel like with a couple of big moves we can go all the way in 2012. We ask to get into the 115 range with our payroll.
