    America's Team

Ballmer has said that he wanted to make the Clippers into "America's Team" but I don't see that happening unless one thing happens.

    Move out of Los Angeles

As long as they're in LA, they're going to be in the shadow of the Lakers. Hate it or not, thats just the way it is. They're not going to catch up with the Lakers' legacy in the foreseeable future. Thats not to say they can't compete or win a championship in that time, but you have guys like shadows of Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul Jabbar hanging over your heads.

Maybe look into bringing an NBA team back to Seattle, but at the same time, its that LA lifestyle that draws the fans and players to that team.

The only way the Sonics are coming back to Seattle is if we up root a small market team or expansion Clippers seem well supported and there is more money down there for Balmer.

    Just about that action boss.

    Clippers aren't moving.

If the Clips rattled off a couple titles and the Lakers struggle for the decade it'd sure help. You gotta remember there's a whole generation of kids growing up right now that haven't/won't see anything but Clipper wins and Laker losses at least for the foreseeable future. Who do you think they're all gonna root for when they're older?
