Paul Silas: "Corey Maggette is going to be the focal point of our offense"

    http://www.iamagm.com/news/2011/12/0...medium=twitter
"Corey has got to come through. He can be a 20-point scorer. He's going to be the focal point of our offense," Silas described. "We're going to rely on him to get it done for us, and he can."

"He was coming off not too good of a year. He has to understand he's now the elder statesman of our ball club," Silas said. "He can do it physically and mentally. We're a young club and we have to have somebody who has been there, who understands what it takes to get it done, and he does

Alright, obviously it sounds pretty bad, and no team would want to boast Maggette as their focal point... But, the guy is a very good offensive player. Past his prime? Yes. However, when it comes to putting the ball in the hole, Maggette is very talented.

With that said, good luck this year Charlotte.

Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, and Colin Kaepernick walk into a bar... To watch Russell Wilson win the Super Bowl.

And at that very moment.....the Bobcats cashed in their ticket to the Nba lotto. Smart move.

This is called gunning for the #1 pick. Love the move, Coach Silas. Lets start Diop at PG too.
    On Cam Newton:

He knows what he's talking about. Corey will be a top 5 scorer and will be top 3 in triple doubles this upcoming year.

He has always been fantastic at getting to the line. I don't doubt he can drop 20, if the focal point. I expect 30% of his points to come from the line. I'll note this for fantasy basketball

Embarrassingly enough, he's still on the Bobcats roster.
