Solid win tonight, the team was flying. Also love to see 1st round picks debut's and Despres seemed to play pretty well, even got a point. Fleury played very solid again against a talented offensive group and we hand the Caps another loss. Great night

Nice win tonight and a very exciting game, especially at the end. 6 on 3 for 2 minutes or so and the PK held strong. Always great to get scoring from the 4th line and a solid performance by Johnson yet again

Crazy ending but a very solid win. Hopefully the injuries to Staal and Engelland are not to significant. As Tomahawk said a nice performance from Johnson he has got to be one of the better backup goaltenders in the league.

Next two games are big ones against the defending Stanley Cup champions, Bruins, and then our arch rivals the Flyers. Should be two fun exciting games.

Well I knew it wouldn't be easy, the Bruins showed why they are currently on that ridiculous streak. That was an ugly 5 on 3 though, 2 full minutes without a whole lot of chances. Anyway, I have a feeling we may be seeing them late in the playoffs... hopefulyl and hopefully not lol

What does everyone think of the new realignment plan. Kind of odd that there are no longer division but there are 4 conferences. The Penguins are going to be part of a 7 team conference with the Flyers, Rangers, Islanders, Devils, Capitals and Hurricanes. So essentially its the Atlantic plus the Caps and Canes.

I'm still trying to determine how I feel about it but at this point, I'm not too thrilled. It is basically the Atlantic plus Washington and Carolina but the Stanley Cup could be between two "Eastern Conference" teams which kind of spoils the whole East vs West thing. I don't know

Crosby is going to miss the next 2 games as a precaution and unfortunately, it comes against the Flyers. Should be a good game

Ugly showing so far. More blown PP's and sloppy play in our own zone. Fleury flipping the puck on his stick was pretty good though lol

Looks like Sid will miss tomorrow, hopefully he isn't out too long.

If he doesn't play the game after Detroit, that's when I'll start to worry. I really hope this doesn't linger too long and he can come back soon. With Staal missing as well, this team is decimiated right now
