I think opposing teams hate when Lambeau plays Roll Out The Barrell more than anything else. I know Rodgers hates it...

Might be the best interview ever. But on a side note, that link led me to another Arodg interview(****ing youtube always does that to me) about the Favre situation. I just want to pose this question to everybody, is there any question Arodg would of performed well if he got to play his third season? I know we wouldn't have been 13-3 and went to the Nfc Championship. But everyone uses him sitting for 3 years as the main argument as to why he is so good. I just wonder if he only sat for 2 years if they use the same argument because plenty of qb's sit for 1 to 2 years.

Brady: Impossible to play any better than Rodgers

When Tom Brady was laying waste to the NFL in 2007, there was talk that he was enjoying the greatest season of all time.

Brady has watched some of Aaron Rodgers‘ performances this year, and says that you can’t get any better than Rodgers in 2011.

“The way Aaron’s playing, it’s impossible to play the quarterback position any better than he is playing it right now,” Brady told Showtime’s Inside the NFL this week via the Boston Herald.

" Aaron Rodgers was sacked 36 times all of last year when he re-wrote the passing record books. He’s been sacked 23 times already. When he’s protected in the pocket, the only thing that can stop the Packers are the refs."

The only thing I can say about him is imagine if his wideout held on to the ball wow! But he has reached greatness already,IMO.

Probably. If not they would just find another excuse. It's never ending.

Charles Woodson went out of his way on the Rich Eisen show to say Arodg could of started when Wood got here in 2006.

You basically have to say that. I'm not sure if he truly was or not but certainly sitting did not hurt him.

For the fourth consecutive time, dating back to last December, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has been named the “NFC Offensive Player of the Month.”

Rodgers is the first player to win one of the league’s monthly awards four consecutive times. He has won it all three months thus far in 2011, putting him three-quarters of the way to an unprecedented season sweep.

To me, it was just the fact that he went out of his way to say that. If he played in 2007, i fully believe he would have been a 25 td- 15 Int guy. Like i said, the team wouldn't of been as successful(and my poor little heart wouldn't have been completely broken in OT of the Nfc Championship). But i think he NEEDED to sit the first two years. He was just too immature coming into the league and those years sitting just built the chip on his shoulder. But i still think he could have started in year three instead of year four.

Edit: I didn't realize that Woodson said 2006 and that 2006 was just Rodgers second year in the league when i heard his quote. In that respect i disagree with him. Rodgers needed the first two years, but i think that third year in 2007 was just a luxury for him to sit again.

Certainly sitting didn't hinder him I don't think physically. But mentally it made him a whole new animal. He was like this cool laid back Cali kid (that was what was usually said anyways) and now he's just like a robot out to destroy every team and every person who ever said anything.

I think some times what goes overlooked is that it was just the learning the game and developing that fire he has now to succeed. So you definitely bring up a really good point there.

Would he have that "drive" he has now if he hadn't sat? I don't think so.
