Tannehill is moving up draft boards like no other. Any chance we grab him at 11 if he drops? I wouldn't be completely against it, mike mayock on NFL network thinks he has the intangibles to be a franchise QB. He gets looked down on because Andrew Luck and RG_III are both once in a generation talents at the QB position. Thoughts?

We apparently worked out ASU QB Brock Osweiler. Can't post a link cuz I'm on my phone but I think he's a solid prospect and one we should look at in the 3-5 round range

I'm not a Tannehill fan at 11, but I would love it if we could get someone in rounds two-three. I'd rather address other needs at 11.

It was fun last time, I anticipate it will be again.
I posted 50,000 times on PSD and all I got was this lousy t-shirt.

I was talking about another QB in rounds 2-3. I have Tannehill going at 4 right now in my mock, and I don't see him getting past Miami at 8.

after rereading i can see that i got crossed up. Who are you thinking? Weeden could step in and really give cassel a run for his money right now lol If Weeden were younger he'd be the guy were talking about going to Miami at 8

Weeden, Osweiler, or Cousins, one of those three in the 2nd or 3rd rounds would be nice.

Osweiler would need to sit for a while imo. He should have gone back for another year.

Cousins isn't going to be a franchise guy for me so that's why I think we take Weeden.

What about burfict in the later rounds...he's mocked rounds 4-5 but i thibk if he is there 3-4 we need to get this guy... He doesn't need to start right away.. beltcher can start this year and burfict could take over the next. A year under Romeo will do this guy wonders

Even though I'm a big Burfict fan, I wouldn't touch him till round four. Rounds 1 through 3 we need to address NT, OG, QB. After that we can start adding depth. Burfict is a guy who needs to get his act together, and he very well could in KC with DJ watching over him.

Arizona State linebacker Vontaze Burfict hasn't been invited for a visit with any NFL teams, his agent, Charles Price, told The Daily on Sunday.

In September of last year, USC defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin described Burfict as "unbelievable."

"He's going to be playing on Sundays, there isn't any doubt about that," said Kiffin, who was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' defensive coordinator from 1996 to 2008 and spent 13 years on other NFL staffs.

But after collecting 17 personal fouls in three seasons with the Sun Devils, and a poor performance at February's NFL Scouting Combine, Burfict's alleged attitude problems on and off the field have dropped him to becoming potentially undrafted.

"I'm not a fan at all," NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said after Burfict's combine performance.

At the combine, Burfict posted the worst 40-yard dash time (5.09 seconds) and also recorded the worst broad jump of any linebacker in attendance. He did, however, improve his 40 time to 4.80 seconds at his pro day in Arizona in March. Burfict also did 16 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press.

as much as i want Decastro after reading this Luke has moved up in my mind.. i dont know if i would take him over Decastro btu god damn

Jovan Belcher starting at ILB is a nice person to have when trying to stop the run, but in the passing game he is miserable. He allowed 85% of passes thrown his way to be completed, worst in the NFL amongst ILBs. Opposing quarterbacks had a 127.5 passer rating against Belcher.

Bottom Line: Kuechly, as evident from his stats (33 game double-digit tackle streak, longest of its kind from 2009 to 2011), is a ball-hawk who nearly recorded 200 tackles twice. As for his pass-situation abilities, he possesses the ability to turn and run with WRs on a straight-line as evident from him being able to turn and run with Tommy Streeter a few times against Miami. He isn’t known for making game-changing forced fumbles or jarring hits, but he is reliable. He will get to the ball and make the tackle all over the field and can really help solidify the Kansas City defense.
