Those of us who live in this area already know about the passion for college football below the Mason-Dixon and how serious these rivalries can get, especially the Iron Bowl. (Auburn fans rolled Toomer's Corner after LSU beat Bama this past Saturday.)
ESPN's documentary on the Iron Bowl premieres Tuesday night at 8pm. I've enjoyed most of the 30-for-30 series, so we'll see how this one goes.

I think the Auburn-Alabama brand is backsliding right now. It's a great rivalry, but now people seem intent on overselling it. This melodramatic documentary, right on the heels of the tree poisining... I think it's starting to feed a negative outside perception of what Alabama is all about.
By the way not much parity in this rivalry lately. Auburn dominated for 6 years, then one good game with Newton, now bama going to dominate the series most likely.
