    Great trade.

Boykin, Green, Massie and more are still there. None of them would contribute (probably) from day 1 so I love adding another needed selection

Guess: Falcons wait until the 5th round to get their TE, Green or Charles. Bet they think both will keep sliding.

Homes is rated a 31 on ESPN... Not sure how much stock to put into ESPN though.

I won't claim to know about Southern Miss football, but the FO clearly wanted to add size to the line in this draft.
    LAMAR HOLMES

OVERVIEW Holmes is a massive offensive tackle from Southern Miss who carries his 320 pounds well and is a deceptive athlete. He continued to improve his technique throughout his career and looked like an NFL player in his senior year. He has good natural strength and could be selected in the later rounds.

    ANALYSIS

STRENGTHS Holmes has good natural strength and an anchor to stall bull rushers at the point of attack. He has an evenly proportioned body throughout his 6-foot-6 frame and looks the part of a starting NFL tackle. He doesn't have a lot of range in his pass set, but he generally gets good enough position to sustain his man. He can move his feet fairly well for his size and mirror with quicker rushers

WEAKNESSES Holmes has a bad habit of stopping his feet on contact, which works in pass protection but leaves him vulnerable when pulling or blocking against the run. His feet don't coincide with his hands when engaged on a block, and he will need to learn to eat up grass in the run game or he will get plays blown up at his expense at the next level.

    6'5" height, 323 lbs, 35 1/4" arms, 9 5/8" hands.

Remember how Peters was a huge reach? I'll trust Dimitroff all day. He may not have a track record of drafting O-Lineman but now he is working with Koetter, Hill and more prospects means more likely to hit gold.

Clearly they thought our line play was sub par and are getting bigger too

Wouldn't surprise me at all if these were Hill's picks.

Konz is simply ridiculous value. No way he should have been there. Great pick.

    Cameron Jordan is awesome

Love the konz pick and as ramon said Thomas d gets the benefit of the doubt with the holmes pick. After adding Samuel and bulking up the o line its been a very exciting week. Funny Ramon i was thinking about that peters "reach" too when I saw grades on the holmes pick.

No more Rose? When is football season again?

Good draft so far! Haven't really seen much of our guys play, but I have been studying up on them. It looks like Konz was a steal.

Charles was taken by the Bengals, wish we had traded up for him.
