^Also, fortunate to get Money Matt Bryant, a great example of a hidden gem signing that pays off.

True story. I think we all remember kicking field goals over 35 yards being a nail biter and over 50 had to be done with our punter for those couple of years. Now we have, dare I say, the best kicker in the NFL.

He's made 13 of 14 this season, 75 of 84 (89.3%) with five game-winning FGs in 4 years with the Falcons. (Seems like more though doesn't it?). 37 years old, but looks like he could go a few more seasons.

I do wonder how they would approach the LB situation in the Draft. Weatherspoon is legit and Nicholas has shown he's a stud, but we just saw what can happen if either goes down. I doubt they spend an early pick on it, but I could see them taking a couple in the middle rounds and signing another vet on maybe a 1-2 year deal in the offseason while they groom the younger LBs.

After seeing Carolina lose Beason for the season again, i could really see them maybe letting him go. Not sure but 3 injuries for the season in a row. If they do let him go, we will take him lol

I think we have to invest in a 3-down back in the draft next year. Our running game now is frankly unacceptable. Lattimore would be nice and I don't think there are many teams in need of a RB like we are.

I'm interested to see if they will let him go. Their recently fired GM stuck by Thomas Davis after all of his injuries year after year, yet Beason has been the superior player and meant more to their franchise when he's healthy. Maybe their new guy will clean house and gut the whole defense. If so, I wouldn't mind taking a chance on him on a short deal.

Next season is the final one of Peria Jerry's deal, where he'll be owed about $900,000 and turns 29 years old in August 2013. Peters is the starter and has done a solid job. At UT, Babineaux still has game but turns 32 next year, so Walker could be groomed as an heir apparent. I would not be shocked if they cut bait on PJ and signed/traded for a veteran nose tackle that Mike Nolan covets to back up Peters or push him for snaps if the run defense doesn't improve.

I could certainly see Jerry being gone. Walker is a starter in the making. Robertson could easily take over.

Randy Starks is one of the league's best run stuffing interior linemen and could become a free agent in 2013. Glenn Dorsey might also be available, possible fit as a 4-3 NT. The running game is being devalued on both sides of the ball these days so TD should be able to get a good deal to fill that spot.

Don't know if Miami will let Starks get away, but if KC cleans house this offseason, Dorsey could be there.

Dorsey may also be young enough to be brought back as a long term role player.

I remember hyping up the idea of TD drafting Doug Martin and David Wilson. Ah well.
