Tom Brady is a system QB, and isn't good

Brady is not a difference-maker or a playmaker. He's a product of the system who happens to play the QB position. He needs EVERYTHING to go smoothly for him to have success. As in, his O-Line must protect him extremely well and his receivers need to get wide open.

Brady is a guy who needs plenty of time to make easy decisions and easy throws.

Brady is a guy who needs a perfectly clean/deep pocket to stride into his throws. It is a must that his interior linemen hold their blocks right at the LOS and don't get driven back.

Brady loses ALL his accuracy whenever a defender is bearing down on him. His accuracy under pressure is pathetic.

Brady makes the most boneheaded decisions/mistakes you'll ever see when he's pressured.

Brady cannot avoid the rush up the middle or move laterally. Push the pocket on him and he'll either 1)take the sack, or 2) take 2 steps backwards and throw the ball into the dirt

Brady's ability to throw on the run is completely nonexistant. By far the most inaccurate passer in the NFL when outside of the pocket.

Exactly. If he's so bad then he'd be beaten easily week in and week out. Brady is by no means overrated or a system QB.

What he has done is a result of the system.

Truthfully I am not scared that of Brady if I know that my team is going to put a crazy amount of pressure on him and give him a limited amount of time to throw. That being said when he does have the time in the pocket and the time to throw, there is nobody better than him at it. Either way he is still a legend and he is still a great QB. To say Brady is a system QB and isn't good is just an asinine thing to say.

    1. i agree with point 1 that he needs a good o line to play well but u can say that for almost any qb

    2. his line gives him protection allowing him to make good throws, get a good line and qb can make a excellent throw

    3. so do most qb's

    4. this is just not true

    5. so u knock him down for being smart and taking a sack instead of throwing it up for grabs

    6. most qb's struggle on the run

now i must take a shower since i feel dirty for defending tom brady

    im sorry jets fans

To quote Whitney Houston "Crack is wack"

If hes system QB wouldn't that mean other QBs would be able to win. How about the fact the same system in Clevlend didn't work to the point were Belicheck was fired? How about Drew Bledsoe who was a pro bowl QB never having the same success as Brady. Sure Cassell did well but it was no were near what Brady did the year before. Plus the team went from 16-0 to not making the playoffs. Also by that logic Joe Montana is a system QB because Steve Young had success in the same system. Hell every system that plays in a west coast offense would be a system QB that that logic.

Also as far as his WR, how come when Deion Branch was traded he wasn't getting open in Seattle and how come Wes Welker wasn't a pro bowl WR in Miami?
