I'm surprised these are the best two teams in the league. I really think my team could have beaten either in a series (But thats a side point). Though its all about the machups I guess also.

    Ill vote in a bit,

thomas came back and became the backup not a third string first of all.

i can play this game too, two years ago michalek was argueably a number 1 in phoenix, 2 years ago martin was a number 1 on new jersey. if you are going to go based off last season then you should go based season and not stuff that happened a while back

i wanna play a new game now...

When did Vokoun become the third string again? Must have missed that, was the starter, got injured...didn't play again due to his injury.

i misread the injury thing on tsn player page and ill own up to that but fact of the matter is the numbers he put up the past seasons makes him an average goalie but teams that have won the cup with an average goalie have stellar defences infront of them which the canucks dont have imo

How is Vokoun average? He's a top 10 goalie since the lockout.

My scoring depth is so superior it's not even funny. His 2nd line is awful, and his 3rd line couldn't score on an empty net. Defense I don't have that stellar #1 D-Man obviously, I can't compete with the "I have Shea Weber" argument. But my defense has 5 top four D-Men, I have the depth to compete over a long series, on O, on D, and in net.

Vancouver is far superior on offense, every line is a legitimate advantage for Vancouver, then I think Carson has an advantage on D outside of Shea Weber (obviously a big deal as he'll play 28 minutes anight in the playoffs), but really. And Vokoun is being underrated here.

Sens deservers to be here and maybe win ebcause he has a great goalie and is solid from top to bottom but 10-5 shocks me so far, I think it's a 6 or 7 game series that Ottawa gets outplayed in but makes it a long series because Thomas stand son hsi head in 5 of the games, 2 of which he lsoes in OT.

    really?
    in no particular order
    lundqvist,quick,thomas,rinne,luongo,fleury,brodeur ,price,bryzgalov,miller,howard,halak,kiprussoff,wa rd,hiller

those are 15 goalies who i consider all round better off the top of my head, you might be able to knock off 1 or 2 names by argueing and maybe another 1 or 2 with stats but i doubt you would be able to knock off 6 names of that list of 15.

i honestly would like to know how he has this advantage on defence, im not saying his defence is horrible but i honestly believe mines is better going down the list in terms of compairison

Both teams are fantastic, and in a lot of ways, both deserve to win. I think the Canucks are just a little bit better overall so I gotta vote for them.

Why is this the first re-draft where the final wasn't posted in the main NHL forum?

    Just wondering.
