Matchup wise I believe that Vancouver has a better first line, I like Ottawa's second and third line better and Vancouver has a better fourth line. As for D I believe that Ottawa's is just more balanced than Vancouvers, but no one has that much of a difference on D. For Goaltending I have to lean towards Ottawa with Thomas. Vokoun may be consistent but Thomas has been consistent also with better numbers and his team won the cup last year which says something. All in all even though this is a close matchup I believe that Ottawa has this in 6.

I personally, just don't see how Ottawa has the better 2nd or 3rd line.

Their 3rd line especially, is very mismatched.

Btw the arguments against Vokoun in this thread are hilariously wrong. Yes i believe this season was the last of Vokoun's "dominant" seasons. The Caps were a better team all year with Vokoun in net. Neuvirth if I'm true to being objective was complete **** as he was shaky and looked nothing like the Neuvirth of his rookie year. A telling factor was that the Caps were SET on having Vokoun start the entire playoffs, which definitely affected how we played him in the regular season. Just wanted to throw my 2 cents in.
