Is there a source to this or is it just the thread starters fantasy? We don't need a fulltime DH we need that spot for the aging players on the team. I think we have had this convo before somewhere on this forum

Thanks for the links. He seemed to just be speaking casually in the interview and that he doesn't want to play there. Of course he would say he would play for the yankees most FA's say that knowing we have alot of money to offer a FA. Do we have a position on the team for him?

I think Ortiz could hit 4th 5th or 6th...depending on how joe would want to set it up but I think the Yankees should look into this...he's always been clutch. He's slowing down some but I think he could put up 30/100 for a few more years...I'd go 2yrs 10mil per.
