    Well....

If they can learn to play for three periods they will be pretty good.

I really think getting PMB back is going to help significantly...without him, we have one and a half complete lines, with him, we have 2 and a half.

I agree, it's just sad our success would depend so much on one player. I mean, what if he starts having concussion symptoms again, will our season be lost?

^^^its how fragile we are this year...we have some serious talent, but if one of our main offensive guys goes down, we are in a lot of trouble...If Heatley or Seto go down, we dont have a legit first line, if latendresse, cullen or pouchard go down, we dont have anyone reasonable to put on the 2nd line, and whoever we do put on the second line, makes our third line that much weaker.

I love backstrom but I feel like he's always struggled at shootouts

yeah, backstrom is a very solid in game goalie, but when it comes to shootouts, he is pretty shaky...in fact, there were a couple instances in previous seasons where he was pulled in the shootout, and they would put in the cold backup.

I kind of wished Brodziak had the better chance of scoring a goal when he was way out in the front all by himself. It was a game changing momentum from that point on, I think.
