I dont care what you guys say. I dont care about a crappy start.

Guess what.. We started the season 5-18-5 last year... And guess what? Some Isles fans, myself included, were talkign about playoff runs in February. t's way too early to jumop of the ship. We have the Rangers tomorrow and that will get us fired up whether we win or lose.

This team is a 2nd line C away from having an elite offense. Once again, I dont care about the crappy start. Nielsen is one of the best 3rd line C's in the league. We have him on the 2nd. Okposo, whether he scores or not (I pray he breaks out...) has what it takes to be a dynamic 3rd lien player. Grabs, Moulson, JT, and Parenteau are all legit top 6 players. I have a good feeling Nino will have a good rookie year as well.

There is so much pessimism, nt becaus eof the bad start, but it is subliminally because we know our coach in incompetent and we know the management will never do anythign to fix immediate problems, its always "wait and see" til its too late. Guess what, it is to late, and thats why isles fans are pissed. Not because of being 4-7-3. It's up to the players to break out of this. Not the coach, once ahgain,we know hes incompetent, but i trust the players to take it upon themselves, starting tomorrow when they will be fired up, to make a change. Were too slow, were too predictable, blah blah blah. Yes, youre right, but does that mean we dont have good players? No it means we have lazy players who arent doing the right things at the right time.. Its nto a lack of talent. Its a lack of direction. We can assume Cappy's here to stay, sadly, so we have to realize its all on the players. I trust them to break out, do you?


And give up on"the russian guy"

Once again. Weve had a weird schedule, weve played the least amount of games...

Get a grip people.

10 games... 10. Weve gone 1-6-3 in out last 10 games... iof 10 game stretches in a season were all that mattered.. That the 30-39-13 islanders last year would ahve been elite. We had a 7-2-1 stretch last year, a 7-3-0 stretch last year, and a 6-1-3 stretch last year... Not to mentions being 4-1-2 to start the season. Wow, thats 37 games last year, in which we wer ein a very good 10 game stretch, none overlapping...

Oh guess what.. We missed a tie for the 8th seed by 20 points.... So wait..

You mean the isles had a 4 very good 10 agems stretches, and tey still missed the playoffs by a ton? Oh... Okay.. Yeah. So Ill have you know, that one ten game stretch that is the opposite, one bad one, isnt gonna make or break the season either. If this team is a playoff team, its irrelevant how we played from October 20th or so to November 15th. Who cares?

It doesnt matter Cause at the end of the day, lets say we have one of thsoe 10 game stetches liek we did last year, and ill bet we have some, cause were a better team... Say we go 7-3-0 in 10 games... Oh looky here were over .500 again.


So tyo all the fans who thought we' contend for a playoff spot before the season who now think there's no shot... Get a grip on reality... The Bruins started the year 3-7-0... Bet no one set fire to their hopes and dreams for them...

Seriously. You know were beter than this and you know it will turn aroudn soon, very soon, but you are just used to failureso you set yourself up for it.. Its not gonna happen.

Keep dreaming about the Yakupov kid... Only time youll ever see him in an isles jersey is in a dream

This team has Streit and a top forward in the NHL. This team has good goaltending. Its nto even close. You had Bailey and Comeau producing at this point last year... You dont have that this year.

Mac never looked "strong" I hear you mentioning his softness a lot this year. Its nto his softness that is making him mediocre. He was just as soft last year. hell Tobias Enstrom one of the ebst dmen in the league is "soft" as it gets, doesnt change anything. As long as Mac is hustling and blocking shots and not giving up unforced turnovers then im fine with his "softness"

you can't win games when you have AHL depth veterans flanking the up-and-coming talent we have invested our futures in.

i blame cappy for his inability to put the correct lines together

i blame rolston and pandolfo for being who they are.

i blame our defense for having more holes than swiss cheese

i blame garth for giving cappy the burden of having 3 goalies to play this year

i blame josh baileys poor excuse of a mustache (on the real...has anyone seen that thing? his age truly shows. i can tell by his mustache alone he needs to mature both in life and in the NHL)

Second I hate when people bring up DP's contract. Yes we are over paying him but it's not like it's crippling us at all... We are what 3 mill above the floor? All thanks to a cap trade with the devils? next year our spending will go up with amac Nielsen and hopefully Montoya raises. But at this point idk if Montoya stays...

Idk about you but I'm starting to believe Wang doesn't care anymore. Idt it's Garth's fault. He tries to get what he can given this bad situation.
If I was Wang I would stick it to Nassau and move to queens ASAP. When he stops fixing the Coli it will soon become unsafe to host events then Nassau will lose its 1 of 3 centerpieces and be forced to spend more money then Wang would have asked.
