Montoya is looking nice. Better than I expected.
defensively at times looks better than expected but at other times is making stupid decisions ( A Mac). Offesensivly the defense is looking bad at leading the puck out of the zone and into the offensive zone. Harmonic though is looking nice
Offensively they are looking Terrible. Absolutely disgusting so far. They can't generate to get Amy shots in either game so far.
Power play teams don't win, even strength teams win. But we have neither
But, you could argue the quality of the ice at home... The puck is bouncing.

I'll just briefly add on to this thread then...
I went to the Isle's home-opener against Florida and I feel like they've still got the same probelms:
Can't move the puck out of the neutral zone,
Turnovers,
Less than half their passes land on a guy's stick it always bounces away (or to the other team),
And I feel like chemistry isn't great between these guys yet. I feel if we give the Isles some time, they'll click and start to win some games.New York Islanders - New York Yankees - New York Giants

I think hell be a scratch until DP gets his first start or 2. If DP plays well, I think well waive Nabby. If DP plays shakily, I think wellstart scratching DP and giving Nabby a shot as the 1B/BACKUP

ipb+ Ryan Strome has been returned to his junior team, Niagra of the OHL. No word on if that move was in conjunction with someone coming off IR.
+ Kirill Kabanov has moved to Farjestad of the SEL (Sweden).
