Burmistrov had a good game. Almost had another goal down the stretch. I was really impressed with Pavelecs play.

Ron Hainsey - D - Jets

Ron Hainsey left tonight's game against Pittsburgh in the second period with an upper body injury.
Hainsey did not return to the contest after the injury. We will update his status as soon as we have more details on the extent of the injury.

Hope it's nothing serious. Meech is more than good enough to step-in for a few games. He really is vastly underrated. He was pretty good in Detroit, though he had a problem getting in the line-up.

That was a nice game...Pavelec played good, his rebound control still seems awful

Big game tonight against the Leafs in Toronto. Should be a good game. Toronto has looked good this season, and with Kessel on fire, Pavelec will need to be good.

Ondrej Pavelec - G - Jets

Ondrej Pavelec is expected to get the nod for Winnipeg on Wednesday night versus Toronto.
He shook off a pair of lackluster outings in his last appearance by making 28 saves on 29 shots in a 2-1 win over Pittsburgh on Monday.

Jake Gardiner - D - Maple Leafs

Jake Gardiner is expected to return to Toronto's lineup on Wednesday night.
The Leafs wouldn't say who is coming out to make room for him, but the decision would be made before game time. It will probably be Cody Franson because he sat out the first two games of the season when Gardiner was in the lineup. Coach Ron Wilson wants to give Gardiner more playing time against Winnipeg. "He's only played about 12.5 minutes (per game), we've got to give him a few more minutes so you notice him," Wilson said.

Derek Meech - D - Jets

Derek Meech will draw into Winnipeg's lineup for the first time this season on Wednesday night.
He has been waiting as an extra defenseman and will replace Ron Hainsey, who is out with an upper-body injury, in his Jets' debut.
