I think he'll pass waivers, or maybe LA takes a shot at him to centre that fourth line. After all, they did basically aquire him at the draft.

    Or Vancouver.

Seriously Brule is better than the **** we have on the 3rd and 4th line.

For Columbus? No sir. Brassard, Johansen, Carter, Umberger, Vermette, and Pahlsson are all guys who do, or can play the middle. I know Umberger will be playing the wing, but anyone else could really be in the middle.

Just posted this in the Leafs forum, i think they should take a shot at him.
“It’s about winning,” Stoudemire said. “You win, you’re going to get on national TV. Simple. In Phoenix, we won — Western Conference finals three, four years, playoffs every year. We won. If you don’t win, nobody really wants to see you.”

wouldnt mind the senators taking a flyer on him. he still has some decent potential and would be better than some of our scoring depth.

I would personally be shocked if he cleared waivers. At first I was like, "yeah he'll probably clear" but then thinking about it, most of the bottom 10-15 teams in the league could use him...

Florida could use some scoring pop and some upside really in their bottom 9.
Islanders could probably use a guy in their bottom 6 with upside.
If Zibanejad doesn't make the Sens, they really only have 1 center who's a lock.
    Winnipeg is probably okay.
    Columbus is set at center.
New Jersey could use a center with some offensive upside, especially with Zajac out.
Toronto could be without Bozak, Connolly, Grabovski, Kadri, AND MacArthur on opening night.
Minnesota could always use some offensive upside
St. Louis and Carolina are probably okay.
Rangers could use a bottom 6 center, especially with Duby moving to the wing full time.
Dallas and Calgary could use some help at center.
    Phoenix could really use him.

I didn't really look at the teams and that's just a short list but that's already 10 teams only out of the bottom 15 and Phoenix from last season. He still could but I can't see him clearing waivers. Could we see another Bryzgalov scenario here?

His salary will likely be what makes him go unclaimed. 1.85 or something around there, and not many teams are looking to waste cap space on an injured Brule.

Hes got the potential there but injuries and lack of consistent playing time have hurt him.
