This is going to take me some time. I'm going back and fourth between Anaheim, Buffalo, and Tampa. Tampa has some pretty good defense, and some stars up front. Buffalo has an elite goaltender, pretty damn good defense, and some serious potential up front. Then you have the Ducks with numerous stars up front, some good defenseman, and a all-star goalie.

Sabres for me. I think the Sabres are better than Philly/NYR heading into the regular season.

how is this fair when you're leaving good teams off the list?

For example, how are the Devils on there but the Maple Leafs aren't?

^^^ I really wouldn't be too concerned about that...unless you want to toss up a homer vote?

Haha. I wouldn't take anything posted here seriously.

IMO, Lightning, Rangers, and Sabres should be ahead of the Flyers IMO. In that order. I voted Lightning.

Seconded. I would have voted for Tampa #9 but missed the vote. I'd put the Flyers in with the Rangers though -- Lighting, Rangers, Flyers, Sabres.
If we're all such great coaches why do we recruit so hard? You need players.

I bet you teams will vote for NJ over Toronto, pal.

Ducks are better too. Have to decide where I want the Ducks. Devils, Canadiens, Flyers, Preds, and Canes are all close in the next group. But the Flyers are already up there so I guess the next bunch is those teams minus the Flyers.

Should I just throw up another East team when the Ducks are picked?

I'm looking out West to the Ducks on this one. Tampa and Rangers were considerations too. At this point, the offensive firepower of Tampa and Anaheim has to factor in. Two of the best top lines in the league, with incredible PP potential for the year. Both could use a more steady defense, but they have young names like Fowler and Hedman developing into key players. I took Anaheim because of the edge in net. It seems to me Hiller is past his vertigo struggles and Ive seen him play lights out before (ie. Beginning of last season).

Rangers look pretty complete this year. I'd be fine with them too. Buffalo can be in the discussion as well. Both teams have excellent goaltending. Rangers have a couple excellent offensive options, Buffalo has more defensive options, both are young deep squads.
