First off, I do think that the PAC will take on the Oklahoma/Texas teams. In the end of all this shifting a playoff of 16 teams will take place. Here's my best guess at how the teams will all shake out in the end. My apology ahead of time to the teams that don't make a conference.

Left out are La-Lafayette, La-Monroe, Army, M. Tenn St., and Ark St.
This will make 8 conferences with the ACC, Big Ten, SEC, and PAC 16 getting 2 automatic bids and the others getting 1 automatic bid. There will be a committee put together to determine the 3 at large bids for the 16 team tournament. Also, the same committee will seed the teams for the brackets.
