Matt Moore is such a beast, I would have traded Reyes for him straight up.
Surprised Peacock made the list, didn't think he pitched enough innings to qualify.

Matt Moore has electric stuff. He throws 95mph with such ease. He was fantastic in Game 1 of the Rangers- Rays series. You add him with Shields and Price and Helickson and others, that's a fantastic pitching staff.

--- www.baseballamerica.comQ: Question on a few Mets: how far outside of the top-20 did Duda, Tejada and Niewenhuis fall? Thanks!
James Bailey: Ruben Tejada has 216 AB for the Mets in 2010, so he wasn't eligible. Duda and Nieuwenhuis were in the next bunch beyond the top 20. Duda's got a nice frame for power, but I think he generates it more from strength than bat speed. He's also a below-average defender in the outfield. I like Nieuwenhuis better long term, but he missed so much of the season that he didn't garner much support for this list.

Makes sense. The way Kirk was playing if he stayed healthy, I think he would have made the list. Duda has never been loved by a lot of scouts, but he really impressed me in the 2nd half.
Agreed. Duda has a great eye at the plate, will draw walks, and will choke up on the bat when necessary. He looks like he's gonna be in the middle of the Mets lineup for years to come. I'd love to see a healthy Ike, Wright, Duda, and Bay combo in the middle of the Mets batting order. They could generate some serious power.
