Burnett isn't the one that gave up 400+ yards passing. Woodson got flagged it seemed like every play. Tramon was gone, and Shields struggled at times. Burnett was one of the few to make plays in that secondary. I will say this though, Bush didn't play all that bad but then again he didnt make many plays either.
I just really hope this injury is not a nagging one. He hopefully can heal this season because this guy is a big part of the future for this team. As dumb as this sounds I wouldn't be shock if the season label was put on for precautions to ensure he will heal. It sucks to lose him this season, but it would suck a lot more to not have this guy in the future of this franchise. Tough injury for this team, but I'm sure the Packers will manage. You can't replace a Nick Collins and you can only hope that some patch work will get you through.
I too am pissed, it was being broadcast everywhere that he was going to be ok (like he was actually going to play this week) and wallla, the guy is out for the year. Best of luck to him I guess. I do have great confidence in Burnett and Peprah, but Nick will be missed.
So Peprah is in now? Or gonna shuffle Woodson to safety and bring in Shields or what now? Just not long ago I quoted Collins wife on tiwtter saying Nick was ok. I suppose a neck thing they might of found something. But why not tell us already?
I'm hoping the Packers will add depth, but as far as veteran free agents go Darren Sharper is the only option. If his knee is healed I am all for signing Sharper, but I can already see some guys here will cry foul there. Unless there is another rabbit in TT's had he has yet to pull I say sign Sharper and have him as depth behind Peprah and Burnett. I mean it time for him and this org to make amends and maybe in the mean time they both can get what they want a ring.
For those who keep wondering what going to happen.
Peprah and Burnett will play safety. Most likely Burnett FS and Peprah SS.

Hopefully he will stay with the team and help coach up Burnett.

Very surprised at this. I think we'll be okay with Peprah because he knows the system and he's a very steady player. Rarely makes the big mistake. However, he is no Nick Collins.
I am still waiting for a statement from MM saying "Haha jk he is going to play next week" I mean for real i just read something where MM said "you can't even tell he is hurt"
I would like the Sharper signing, but i give the starting spot to peprah..I'm guessing Burnett slides into Collins' role while Peprah takes over where he left off last year at SS. Also wouldn't be suprised to see Woodson seeing some action at safety and god forbid Jarrett Bush. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing them sign some depth though. Don't think Sharper is the answer (unless he can have a year like he did a few seasons back w/ NO). Not sure who else is out there....

I would keep woodson at corner, after what he did @Carolina. Dude was just ball hawking, then he could corner blitz, or have shields do the majority of corner blitzing since he's horrendous at coverage
I asked @TyDunne about what roster moves will be made because of the Collins injury...
@PackFan_1995 Peprah bumps up, obviously. Capers sung Burnett's praises today, too. As far as depth, we'll see.
The Quest for the Cup. Round 2
How awesome would that be if he all the sudden played on Sunday, just a big trick against the Bears.
lol.
I posted 50,000 times on PSD and all I was this lousy t-shirt.
