My guess is this team will end 8-8. The whole Peyton Manning thing is over blown. Elite QB one of the best, but any QB value would be greater if the team failed to ever acquire a decent back-up.

The redskins and the bengals have a better shot at getting #1. the redskins barely have any talent while the bengals have no talent at all!

Finally a new argument in the Peyton vs. Brady debate

    So we've all heard the arguments . . .

    -Brady is a system QB
-Peyton has always had better recievers
    -Brady wins SBs
    -Peyton is the Colts

Finally a new argument, how does each team do without their star QB for a season?

In 2008 Brady went down in week 1. Cassel came in, won 11 games, and put up these numbers:
    16 Games, 327 completions, 516 attempts, 63.4 completion %, 3,693 yards, 21 TDs, 11 INTs, 89.4 QB rating.

Now with Peyton out for possibly the year will Kerry Collins' success say anything about the Peyton vs. Brady discussion?

I'm not trying to start a name calling match up, I just want to see if anyone would think more highly of Peyton if the Colts go 4-12, adversely would people think less of Peyton if a 38 year old Kerry Collins took the Colts to the playoffs?

    My Mock v 1.1
    51st (Second Round) - Amerson CB/FS
85th (third round) - Bacarri Rambo FS
    119th (fourth) - David Quessenberry, OT/OG
    154th (fifth) - Cornelius Washington, DE/ OLB
162nd (fifth) - Ray Ray Armstrong, SS
191st (sixth) - Nick Kasa, TE
228th (seventh) - Rodney Smith, WR

Interesting idea, it will be interesting to see what happens to the Colts. That OL may have forgotten how to think without Peyton telling them who to block.

This isn't a fair comparison. Cassel was in the system for a handful of years and didn't come back for retirement. Collins was out of the league and has only been with the team a couple of weeks.
