What a start by Alonso, exactly what was needed
Sucks for Webber, but awesome for Alonso.
Got up to watch, Webber out. I should go back to bed.
I don't particularly like Hamilton but...Go Hamilton!
YES! Now stay there Lewis.
Vettel *****ing about Hamilton. I hope his alternator ****s up. Been cheering for Hamilton all race, lol.
Well no one else is getting to the podium with Massa currently 4th. He should drive straight into Vettel first lap of the next race. Now that'd make a great teammate.

Maldonado bumping into his own teammate![]()
Nice work Lewis, nice work. Bring on Brazil!
Excellent damage control by Alonso. Thankful for Hamilton. Lol.
first full race i seen this season, mostly cause every other race is early sunday mornings us time. great race and a nice track though.
This is how Alonso can claim a third World Championship in Brazil:
- By finishing first with Vettel fifth or lower
- By finishing second with Vettel eighth or lower
- By finishing third with Vettel 10th or lower
Yeah I don't really have a problem with it, I think you need to help your team-mate when he's the only one with a shot at the championship.
Martin Whitmarsh made a good point though, that it isn't really fair on the other drivers who got put on the wrong side of the grid. I wonder if they'll look into changing the regulation a bit over the summer to stop this happening again, like they always do when Red Bull use a loophole
You love him!
It was an awesome job by Hamilton. I thought Vettel was funny, *****ing about the overtake but I think it was actually because of a backmarker that he was pissed off. After the race they said he got held up at the beginning of that lap by Karthekayan, but Vettel caught him through the esses so there was nowhere for the lapped car to go really.
One last note: Rain is forecast for Brazil next weekend![]()
This might be Lewis' last victory for awhile. I'm not anticipating a good season next year for him. Hopefully Merc will be on form in '14 with the new rules.
That's what they're looking at I think. I remember reading somewhere that they were already focused on that season halfway through this season. But despite their poor form this season, they did have a pretty competitive car at the start of the year, it was just really unreliable (just like the McLarens), so maybe next year if they keep up with the development through the season they might be a bit more competitive.
But 2014 is probably the only chance of a championship for the team or drivers.
