Seems like Lotus are the only top team that won't use the vanity panel, apart from McLaren who didn't need it anyway.
First day of testing, Mercedes and McLaren are already having reliability issues
Great to hear that Massa is much, much more comfortable with the new Ferrari.
Hamilton had a minor crash today at testing in Jerez. Suspected mechanical issues.
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come from McLaren and Mercedes
Also Force India need to pull their finger out and name a second driver. Surely it's only hurting the whole team (including their current driver) by leaving it this long...
Im still sad that Kobayashi isnt going to be driving, if he could be consistent i would love him in Massa's seat (although i do love Massa...even though its one of those love hate relationships) Bruno Senna womt be racing F1 this year.
While the issues Merc and Mclaren are having shouldnt be that big of a deal in testing, its still relatively bad considering they had all sorts of issues all year last year.
Obviously my biggest hope is that Ferrari finally deliver Alonso a championship winning car. And perhaps maybe Massa can get his head out of his *** and actually help out or even bloody challenge for the 'ship.
I dont know why Force India are taking so long, doesnt make sense.
@RachelBrookesTV:Great to hear, obviously not massive news, but good to see that he's already started strong and feeling comfortable in the new car.Felipe Massa has just done a 1.17.879 in the Ferrari - quickest of week so far. Kimi yet to do a timed lap, Vettel has done 28 laps in rb9
Alonso isnt at testing, which sucks, i'd like to see/hear how he goes in the new car.
Massa finished really well last season and this year's car is supposed to be much better. I think he'll be fine this year. I still think it will be a three way fight between Vettel, Button and Alonso for the championship though. Hopefully Lotus will step up and give Kimi a shot but I doubt it this year.
@SkySportsF1:It was only a matter of time Of course it'd be De La Rosa's car though Thankfully Ferrari don't have a recent history of reliability issues, otherwise I'd be a little more worried.Ferrari suffer first 2013 breakdown on Pedro de la Rosa's second lap in the car
WTF did DLR do to it?!
Three weeks away now...
It was a good day for Ferrari and Mercedes today, hopefully they can both carry some form into the first race of the season.
Can't wait. Go lewis!
I hope Hamilton does well in the Merc but it's all about Jenson Button in the McLaren this year
