This looks like a beautiful track, wish I had HD

Not seen any of the practice but qualifying is about to start, I'll be watching that.

Yeah Singapore looks amazing - it's a pain in the *** in the F1 game, haha.

I hope Ferrari sorts out those issues with Alonso's car, he's fast enough to get pole position.

Not sure if you guys are aware but here's an interesting fact about Marina Bay:

The lighting on the track is setup to simulate the light drivers would get in a daytime race.

I personally find that interesting how they are able to simulate daytime light.

When I did photography at uni we had a lightbox that simulated natural light, for checking prints to make sure you'd balanced all the colours correctly. It's a fairly common technology now I think.

True, but a lightbox is a lot different to lighting a race track used by F1 cars

    Yeah good point

Hamilton goes out early after struggling with his car. More problems for McLaren.

I love hearing "More problems for McLaren"

But that normally means they're going to have a great race, lol.

I just hope Alonso pulls his finger out.

Kobayashi with a really bad crash. Hit the kerb to quickly and took off into the wall. Ouch.

Where Kobayashi crashed, on F1 2010, if you slightly touch the chicane you spin out and meet the walls - thankfully fixed on 2011.

Massa needs a good time here.

If he does it could be an amazing race. Vettel, Webber and Button just turned in great qualifying laps so if Alonso and Hamilton get up there too and stay accident free through the first few corners tomorrow, it would be an amazing race.

****ing hell it's just one thing after another for Hamilton. A puncture on one of his rear tyres now, I don't think he's going to get back out for another lap.

Alonso is pretty good at Marina Bay, he won last year.

Lol, Hamilton loses a set of tires

Why can't these damn things happen to Vettel? **** always happens to Webber.
