The lighting on the track is setup to simulate the light drivers would get in a daytime race.


I personally find that interesting how they are able to simulate daytime light.

I personally find that interesting how they are able to simulate daytime light.

When I did photography at uni we had a lightbox that simulated natural light, for checking prints to make sure you'd balanced all the colours correctly. It's a fairly common technology now I think.

True, but a lightbox is a lot different to lighting a race track used by F1 cars

Where Kobayashi crashed, on F1 2010, if you slightly touch the chicane you spin out and meet the walls - thankfully fixed on 2011.

If he does it could be an amazing race. Vettel, Webber and Button just turned in great qualifying laps so if Alonso and Hamilton get up there too and stay accident free through the first few corners tomorrow, it would be an amazing race.
