Disarm the Descent - Killswitch Engage

This music forum has become the hip-hop forum. Listen to something else

I listen to a lot more than Hip-Hop.

But I'll be avoiding this and making an irrelevant post in your thread. Just because you sound whiney.

I'm all for non hip-hop threads, but I'm not a fan of Killswitch Engage

Alive or Just Breathing was great but I haven't liked them for over a decade. Howard Jones was much better in Blood Has Been Shed. MUCH better.

I find it ironic that you, mr anti-sexist himself, listens to rap.

Daylight Dies is still far and away my favorite from these guys but I dig most of this album. Their vocal style seems to have changed just a bit, sounds more harsher. First two tracks are probably my favorites from this.

It's not even worth it. This forum is too far gone. Somebody in the post a song thread said that Thrice was crap. Thrice. I've brought up Protest the Hero dozens of times and apparently Protest the Hero is crap and talentless. If it's not hip-hop, or if it's not some other genre mixed with hip-hop / rap (Linkin Park), they won't like it. I seriously could not believe my ears when I relented and listened to a Jay-Z song. How that's considered music I'll never know. It's almost as bad as Dubstep.

Thrice is crap after The Artist in the Ambulance.

I have no issue talking about thing a other than rap and hip hop. I've actually listened to rock for my entire life. Including now. I still listen to a lot of metal, screamo, punk and hardcore.

But whining about people not liking your music is not a good start.

I'd disagree with that. Their sound definitely evolved but I like the various styleS that are present in albums like the Alchemy Indexes. Major/Minor isn't bad but seems a bit uninspired all the tracks just kind of mesh together

Whoever said that needs to be kneecapped with a tire iron. Kezia is one of the most complex albums I've ever listened to.

This is my favorite scream song of all time. It's the perfect contrast between vocals and scream. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9WVbepzCyxU&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D9WV bepzCyxU

    Dallas >>>> Spencer.

I'm a HUGE fan of Underoath's first three albums. I really liked They're Only Chasing Safety but they kind of trailed off for me after that. Kind of like Thrice. Just not a big fan of their evolutions.
