    Hughes versus AJ

Hughes has made 9 starts all year long. Including his first 3 starts where he was pitching injured, he has 4 Quality Starts in 9 games.

AJ has 8 Quality Starts in 24 starts.

It really is so telling. I don't know how anyone in their right mind could say that AJ should be in the rotation over Hughes.

if aj goes to the pen theres a chance he doesn't come back. He'd be a 16.5 million dollar reliever, and we got upset about sorianos amazing contract

He'd never come back? Isn't that a good thing?

Right now he's a 16.5 million dollar nuisance to the Yankees team.

With AJ in the pen, the Yankees might win more games with whomever else is starting and AJ can limit his throws to whipped cream pies, which he never misses.

I think ikts a huge mistake putting hughes in the pen, the guy has looked real nice as a starter and his stuff looks like its getting back to form and I just dont trust AJ ever so im pissed about it

I'm hoping they don't put Hughes back in the bullpen and cause more confusion of what his role actually is like what they did with Joba. Keep Hughes a starter, he has more value in that position.

allowing 4 runs or more in a game this year:
CC Sabathia 9 times 3 of those were more than 5 runs
AJ Burnett 9 times 3 of them were more than 5 runs

What is your point? Are you trying to make a point? Fail.

CC has 42 more innings in just 2 more starts.

And that is the wrong move to make. It's about doing what is right.

I don't know when everyone started knowing the future here anyway...smh

I prefer Hughes but both have to prove that they belong in the rotation.

Since Hughes has came of the DL he's pitched to a 4.28 ERA in 6 starts (33 innings). AJ over that span has pitched to a 6.17 ERA in 6 starts (35 innings).
