I just got home from work and read that Weaver went against the advice to resign with the Halos. It just shows that Boras is a GREEDY bastard and is just out for the money. The guy is loaded is his family is set for the next 150 years. So wow, what a douche BORAS is... Here is the link if anyone wants to read it.. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/mlb/s...es-angels-deal

Wait.. Scott Boras, a baseball agent, is just in it for the money? Seriously?!

Is there anyone in this forum that has a job and isn't just in it for the money? If they didn't pay you, would you still go?

Whoa. I don't think I realized you lived in Downey. That's where I was born and lived for like 12 years.

The Angels signed ace Jered Weaver to a five-year, $85MM contract extension. The deal includes a full no-trade clause and various "significant" bonuses for winning the Cy Young and MVP awards and for earning All-Star berths. Weaver was slated to hit free agency after 2012 and the extension buys out his final year of arbitration eligibility and four years of free agency,
    I wonder how significant

Mike DiGiovanna of the L.A. Times has contract details for Jered Weaver's new deal with the Angels. The contract has a full no-trade clause, a $1MM signing bonus, and salaries of $14MM for 2012, $16MM each for '13 and '14, $18MM for '15, and $20MM for '16.
