I've been checking but nothing yet. You can watch the video of him below. Didn't look like he was in any obvious pain.

Thanks for the video, as you said he doesn't look like he's in any pain. Gohara looks a lot like C.C Sabathia, lol.

According to a Brewers AA media relations guy Luis Salazar (Mississippi's manager) told him that Gohara has a muscle strain in his left arm.

Asked Coppy during the ask Coppy q and a on twitter how long Gohara might be out. Said he's only expected to miss one start, that it was precautionary because he's a special talent.

Good question, I asked him directly about Otani and didn't get a response, maybe because tampering, then I asked him if we are going to be aggressive pursuing stars players in the Asian market in the next couple of years and he said that the Braves are very active in the Asian market and that's a definite possibility.

So I would expect the Braves to be on Otani when he's posted.

I saw that question, thought it was a good one. Somebody mentioned Andrew Miller when he's a FA and Coppy said he can't discuss names because of tampering but that he's more interested in another reliever in that class...that would most likely be Craig Kimbrell.

I would be so happy if we could being him back. I'm sure he would welcome coming back.

Medlen making a start for the fire frogs in high a tonight. Coppy said yesterday that he threw 6 shutout in extended ST last time out. Time to see what he's got.

The minors have been very exciting this year, worried they should have let Fried start off in A+ and just advanced him quickly. The games I watched he has looked great stuff wise, just looks rattled very easily. Throwing FB right done the middle doesn't help either.

Gohara was placed on the 7 day DL on the 17th with a left biceps injury. Doesn't sound like it's anything serious.

My prospects to watch at every level: A few I am glad are doing well like I hoped, OF is suddenly a loaded position for us lol.

I was gonna do AA & AAA but I feel like most of those are pretty well know outside of maybe Franco. And most of the guys I listed are known as well just overshadowed by their peers at each level due to name/draft pos/etc. I am really excited about the minor league system this year. Especially Danville because I think a lot of our elite international prospects might make the jump there before the season is over.

    Florida Fire Frogs:

Anfernee Seymour .354/.392/.417/.809 (doesn't have any pop, but has elite speed with a good arm for OF as a recent SS. They seem to be focusing more on his bat and D in the OF instead of letting him steal. Should move to AA in next month or two if he keeps this rate)

Tyler Pike [1.93ERA, 19BB, 54SO, 1.07WHIP] (Not sure anyone expected this guy to get off to a great start like this. I would say stay cautious because his best season to date was in 2013 at 19. Just proves that we probably have the deepest farm in the league when it comes to pitching)

Drew Harrington [2.28ERA, 9BB, 35SO, 1.15WHIP] (I really can't make my mind up on if this guy will be a SP or RP in this system. One thing I do know is that he has been great in his limited time in the pros so far. I think he could be at worst a very good Long relief in the pros)

    Rome Braves:

Randy Ventura .338/.379/.357/.735 (Lacks power, but is young with great speed and solid D. Expect him to be good in a few years)

Brett Cumberland .224/.443/.471/.913 (He has found the pop we all hoped for lately, and has been red hot the best week. If he keeps this up another few weeks I could see a braves special moving him to AA)

Bryse Wilson [2.18 ERA, 13BB, 41SO, 1.11 WHIP] (The kid is 19 until late December and looks to be outshining our top pick last year Ian Anderson, should be an exciting draft class to watch grow!)

Posted up above the I asked Coppy about the injury on twitter and he said he's only expected to miss one start, that it's precautionary because of his immense talent.
